Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS)

Modern technology seems to have taken over our world in the last twenty years, and we find ourselves living with numerous frequencies in the air.  Think of wireless from years ago ‘put the wireless on’, the radio in other words, often said by our grandparents.  Since then signals sent through the airwaves have increased tremendously, more than we can realize.  The use of Wi-Fi, Mobile phones, Bluetooth, many wireless connections and now the use of 5G seem a normal part of life and something we very much take for granted.  Connection to the Internet has become a necessity and we never give it a second thought.

Well…that might be the way for most of the population, but there are many people who find it very difficult to live with these frequencies.  This isn’t necessarily something new. It was first reported in the 1940’s and not many people are aware of it. Some may laugh and say don’t be silly those wireless waves won’t effect you!!….but, in fact, they can and do for some of the population.  It’s important to remember that we are all electromagnetic beings, we run at a frequency too.  Our thoughts emit a frequency, just like positive and negative energy. Think about when you’ve walked in a room and somehow ‘pick up’ on the fact that there has been some sort of argument, even though you weren’t there to witness it. We’ve all had that feeling!

So…What are the Symptoms?

EHS effects different people in different ways. Some experience severe reactions. Others very subtle reactions.

These can include: –

  • Tiredness
  • Brain fog
  • Aches
  • Pain in the body
  • Sharp shooting pains
  • Weak muscles
  • Dizziness
  • Feeling faint
  • Fainting
  • Heart palpitations
  • Fast heart beat
  • Feeling in low mood
  • Depression

When EHS sufferers experience these waves of electromagnetic frequencies it can disrupt the natural functioning of their body and can make them feel really ill, fearful and unable to communicate in normal surroundings.

You can find more information about Electrical Sensitivity otherwise known as ‘Microwave Sickness’ on the Powerwatch Website.

Me standing really close to a massive Mobile Phone mast whilst on holiday in Chester back in 2009. Taken on an old mobile phone camera. I deliberately walked up to it to face my fears and reprogram my beliefs and perceptions about it.

The photo above can also be found in Mike England’s Book ‘Miracles Happen with One Good Thought’. Mike shares my story and journey of Electrical Sensitivity and how he worked with me to create the positive change that now allows me to live a normal life, living with electromagnetic waves. Mike England is the reason I trained to become a hypnotherapist myself. He changed my life! I have so much gratitude for this gentleman as he also helped me on my cancer journey too. It has allowed me to use my experiences of EHS and Cancer to help people, bringing and developing it into my own work now. I am also looking forward to working with Mike in the very near future, watch this space!

Fear of Electricity

This might actually sound really peculiar, but it is very real for that person. Fear plays a very big part in EHS. As we know, when we add to a fear it can, in fact, create more to be fearful of. The subconscious mind logs every experience away, especially fearful ones, which it seems to love! And when a strong emotion goes with the experience it continues to add information that can increase responses, even without us realising.  It then runs those programs, so like a computer app or mobile phone app when you keep adding information and updates it runs better and stronger. This is what happens with your thoughts, reactions, responses and feelings regarding EHS. Remember our thoughts emit a frequency, we are electromagnetic beings. All these constantly being added to the program to continue running with increasing emotion.

The idea is to change the program. When you change the program the physical responses can then start to change.  This all might sound very far fetched. But the process worked phenomenally amazing for me and I now remain EHS symptom free using my mobile phone, WiFi, computer and all electrical equipment every day.

So how can Hypnotherapy help EHS?

Hypnotherapy allows us to connect with the part of our brain that runs these unwanted programs that we no longer require or wish to change (please see Hypnotherapy and The Mind). When your subconscious mind has an idea logged away and you keep adding to it, it runs the program and runs it even stronger. Like most situations in life people change and develop. As we grow older, we no longer requiring old habits and patterns that were initially beneficial to us. If we can change a habit, we can change a response. When we change the response, we can change the experience. When we change the experience, we log new information into our operating system – our subconscious mind – that’s when big changes can happen!

Stress comes from a thought (see Stress). So if a thought can create a response in your body, imagine if we change the thought, we can change the response too. That’s how I created change in my life.  Please see my Home page and About for further info.

If you are suffering from the effects of EHS or you think you might be affected please get in touch. I am more than happy to chat with you to help create change in your life and bring back some normality.  If it worked for me, it could work for you too!  I’ve been on the other side of EHS so I know and understand how it feels and how debilitating it can be. I use my experience to create positive change for you. Every person’s experience is different, but the basis is very much the same.

When we change our perspective on something we no longer wish to experience, no matter what it may be, that something can become nothing. Allowing you to move forward in life, being the person you were meant to be!
