Course Details…
I will be running ‘Understanding the Mind – 6 Week Programme’ again Autumn 2026 at:
Sedgley Community Centre, DY3 3UA
Dates: To be confirmed
Time: 7pm – 9pm (Thursday evenings)
Each session will be interactive, where I will be providing techniques, tasks and handouts to help create a powerful understanding of the mind and how it can be utilised in everyday life — learning to look at life with a new, more profound perspective.
PLUS… I am hoping to once again include special guest speakers — adding empowering, transformational insight to this already inspiring programme.
Initially presented successfully in 2017, 2018, Autumn 2024 and Spring 2025, I continue to update this transformational content to help you create positive change through understanding the mind.

Programme Overview…
Week 1 – Watch Those Thoughts!!
Introduction to the programme. Understanding the conscious and subconscious mind and the different aspects of the mind.
Week 2 – Fight, Flight or Fun!!
Understanding fears and phobias. Rational and irrational fears, perception, and how this affects the body.
Week 3 – Stress Mess to Stress Less!!
Good and bad stress. Techniques to release stress and anxiety.
Week 4 – Anchors Away!! To Sail that Placebo!!
Anchors and placebos — releasing old anchors, creating new ones, and learning how to work with the placebo effect.
Week 5 – The Art of Self-Hypnosis and Affirmations!!
Introduction to self-hypnosis and how to use it to create positive change.
Week 6 – Conclusion: Harmony Life Balance using the Power of Your Mind!!
Bringing everything together. Maintaining and using the techniques from the course to empower your life. Includes open Q&A.
