Fibromyalgia...

“Helping you manage pain, fatigue and emotional wellbeing”

Fibromyalgia Support...

Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/M.E) can often share similar symptoms, particularly around fatigue and overall wellbeing.

If you’re unsure which best reflects your experience, you may find it helpful to also explore my CFS / M.E support page.

“You don’t need to figure this out alone — I’ll guide you.”

Living With Fibromyalgia...

Living with Fibromyalgia can be challenging — not just physically, but emotionally too.

Ongoing pain, fatigue and sensitivity can affect how you feel day to day, often making even simple things feel more difficult.

You are not alone in this… and there is support available.

Understanding Fibromyalgia...

Fibromyalgia can affect the body in many ways, including:

  • Widespread pain
  • Fatigue
  • Sleep difficulties
  • Sensitivity to touch or pressure
  • Emotional stress and overwhelm

These symptoms can often feel unpredictable, which can lead to frustration and uncertainty.

How Hypnotherapy Can Help…

The mind and body are deeply connected.

When we experience ongoing pain or discomfort, our thoughts and emotional responses can sometimes intensify how we experience those symptoms.

Hypnotherapy works by helping you access a calmer, more relaxed state — allowing the body and mind to respond differently.

This can support you to:

  • Manage pain more comfortably
  • Reduce stress and tension in the body
  • Feel calmer and more in control
  • Improve emotional wellbeing
  • Develop a more positive relationship with your body

By understanding how your mind works, you can begin to use it in a way that supports you, rather than works against you.

A Personalised Approach...

No two experiences of Fibromyalgia are the same.

Your sessions are tailored to you — your symptoms, your experiences, and what you feel you need support with.

There is no pressure — just a calm, supportive space where you can begin to feel more at ease.

Understanding the Importance of Pacing...

When living with fatigue or chronic pain conditions, pacing is an important part of managing your energy and wellbeing.

It’s about learning to listen to your body, recognising your limits, and finding a balance between activity and rest — without pushing yourself to the point of exhaustion.

Many people experience a cycle of doing too much on a “good day” and then needing time to recover afterwards. Pacing gently helps to reduce this cycle and create more consistency.

Within my sessions, we work together to support this approach by:

  • Increasing awareness of your energy levels
  • Reducing the pressure you may place on yourself
  • Creating a more balanced and sustainable way of moving through your day

There is no expectation to push beyond your limits — instead, we focus on working with your body, not against it.

“Small, steady steps often create the most lasting change.”

My Experience Supporting Fatigue and Pain Conditions...

Alongside my private client work, I have supported many individuals living with long-term health conditions in both one-to-one sessions and group environments.

An important part of this journey was my involvement with the Salus Fatigue Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation focused on supporting individuals, their families, and friends affected by fatigue-related and chronic health conditions.

Salus offered a valuable source of support for those living with conditions such as:

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / M.E
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Cancer
  • Brain injury
  • Hormonal and post-traumatic conditions

During my time with Salus, I facilitated regular monthly sessions at their centres in Sutton Coldfield and Moseley, working closely with individuals who were often experiencing chronic pain, heightened sensitivity, and the emotional impact that can come with living with fibromyalgia.

As my work developed, I was also invited to design and deliver course content for their Fatigue Wellbeing Hub — creating sessions that helped individuals better understand the connection between the mind and body, particularly in relation to pain, stress, and the nervous system.

These sessions included:

  • The Power of the Mind
  • How Your Mind Can Support Your Body
  • Mindfulness
  • From Stress Mess to Stress Less

Through this work, I supported a wide range of individuals and witnessed how gaining a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection can help people feel more in control of how they respond to pain and discomfort.

I also contributed to live online sessions, sharing practical insights into how calming the mind can help to soothe the nervous system and support the body during challenging times.

One of the most meaningful aspects of this experience was seeing how, when people are given the right tools and understanding, it can help reduce the intensity of overwhelm and create a greater sense of ease within the body.

This experience has played a significant role in shaping the work I do today.

The content I created and the approaches I developed have naturally evolved into my own Harmony Life Balance courses and sessions, where I continue to support clients in calming the nervous system, reducing overwhelm, and creating a more comfortable and balanced way of living.

“This depth of experience allows me to meet each client where they are, with understanding, compassion and practical support.”

Creating Positive Change...

Working with the mind can create powerful shifts — not only in how you feel emotionally, but in how your body responds.

Through my Harmony Life Balance approach, I support you in developing awareness, understanding and tools to help you move towards a more balanced sense of wellbeing.
